Privacy policy

MapleCount does not collect personal data. What you enter stays on your iPhone. The app has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no server that receives your data.
Data on your device
Your trips, dates, province, status periods, the people you add and your settings are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone and in an app group shared with the MapleCount widget. Deleting the app deletes them. Your own encrypted iPhone or iCloud backup may include them; Apple controls those backups and we cannot read them.
Photos and Calendar
Only if you choose to import trips, MapleCount reads photo dates and locations or calendar events on your iPhone to suggest trips. This happens on the device and nothing is uploaded. You can turn access off in iOS Settings at any time.
Imports and reports
Text you paste, CBSA travel history files you open, and PDF or CSV reports you create are processed on the device. A report leaves your iPhone only when you share it yourself.
Reminders
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No server is involved.
Purchases
Apple processes in-app purchases. We do not receive your payment details or identity; the app only asks Apple whether a purchase is active.
Children
MapleCount is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
